This 15K and 5K race was created by Les Wright  and is sponsored  by the 501 c 3 non-profit Lake Tahoe Marathon

Les is the Race Director and creator of the Lake Tahoe Marathon events which is 5 day, multi-event long week end. The Lake Tahoe Marathon includes a Speed Golf, 3 Day Triathlon; a 3 day Triple Marathon, Kids Fun Races, Kayak races, Swims, and Bike Races.
Walkers and joggers are welcome in all events. Les has been a part time resident of Kihei for the past 11 years.

Our mission is to bring another high quality event to Maui. To bring visitors to Maui to enjoy running in one of the most beautiful places in the world as well as to provide an event for locals to run and enjoy.
